Addressing medication adherence warrants multifaceted approaches. At this year’s conference our speakers will provide insights for ongoing National and Local Medication Adherence Campaigns. Speakers on the national level include the Care Continuum Alliance and the National Consumers League. On the local level, Novant and others will review their program successes highlighting the importance of consumer interactions, health literacy and health coaching.

Lastly, NCAHC will highlight adherence insights from over 11,000 North Carolinians surveyed through the NC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). To wrap up, you will have the opportunity to connect with our thought leaders at a moderated panel discussion session led by Derek Prentice.

Adherence Resource - Script Your Future

The National Consumers League has launched a national education campaign, called Script Your Future. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness among consumers and their family caregivers about the importance of taking medication as prescribed as a vital step toward better health outcomes. NCAHC has signed on as a Committed Partner of the campaign!

A new online resource is now available to help health care professionals improve medication adherence among their patients, particularly those with chronic conditions.
